The YCAA is dedicated to raising money to support talented local youngsters training for careers in the creative or performing arts. Over the years, your donations have provided hundreds of grants, used to help with everything from travel costs to specialist equipment. Without your generosity, many of our young people would have had to give up on their future careers.
Previous recipients have included:
- Dancers selected for the Royal Ballet Associate programme.
- Students attending prestigious UK Performing Arts Colleges and Universities.
- A Psychology student working with dementia sufferers as a trained art therapist.
We support young people training for a variety of disciplines, including illustration, musical theatre, dance, drama and publishing.
If you support the YCAA, you are giving a young person in South Somerset an opportunity to use their talents and follow their dreams.
There are lots of ways to get involved, from coming to our events, entering the Yeovil Literary Prize, or simply making a donation.
Look out for collection buckets at YCAA or Yeovil Literary Festival events, or make a donation.
