The YCAA and Waterstones presents… The Best Books Evening 2026!

Join us for a lively evening with six well-known panellists each giving their view of some of the best award-shortlisted books of 2026.  Read the books before the event or listen to the debate to form your own opinion!  Which will you choose as the best book of the year?

This is a light-hearted event for book lovers keen to share their thoughts and audience participation is encouraged, so if you’re baffled by the Booker or confused by the Costa, come along to meet fellow readers!
